Upcoming Events - 06/28/2020


Dear Parishioners,


Like we have done in previous years, we are showing our appreciation to our graduates by giving them a gift. This Sunday, June 28, Achan will bless and give them a  gift after the 11:00 AM Holy Mass. We welcome all graduates to come and receive this gift, if possible.

Our monthly Parish Council Meeting will be this Sunday, June 28th at 1:30 pm through Google Meet.

Friday, July 3rd:  St. Thomas Day (Dukhrana), Day of Obligation, First Friday, Holy Mass at 6:00PM. 

As you all know, we were supposed to have our parish picnic on June 20th. Unfortunately under the current circumstances we were unable to organize it, but we will have this in a future date when it will be safer for our community to gather together.

We will continue our daily Mass schedule as usual.

Please see the following Mass schedule:

Monday – Friday:  6:00PM

Saturday:  9:00AM

Sunday: 11:00 AM (NOT at 10:30am)

  

Please comply with the following guidelines to ensure everyone's safety:

1.   You must wear a mask (bring your own mask) all the time while you are in the church including while going to receive the Holy Communion

 

2.   Sanitize your hands before you enter the church. Church will provide the hand sanitizer

 

3.   Keep six-foot social distancing at the church and we must stay within the limit of 100 people for the Mass.

 

4.   After each Mass the pews will be disinfected.

 

5.   There won't be any social gathering, food or coffee at the social hall.

 

If you have any health concerns, we encourage you to refrain from coming to the church.

All the Masses will be live-streamed at the same time when the Mass is celebrated. (Monday-Friday at 6PM, Saturday at 9am and Sunday at 11am)

 

Please keep our nation and our healthcare and frontline workers in your prayers. Please pray for our parish community to resume its normalcy.

Upcoming Events - 06/21/2020


Dear Parishioners,

 

Tomorrow, Friday June,19th is the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We will have Holy Mass at 6pm followed by the Benediction. Consecrate your family to the Sacred Heart of Jesus by reciting the prayer (Kudumbaprathishta) during your family prayer.

Father's Day: Sunday, June 21st. 

Online VBC sessions: June 25th and 26th. There will be two 40 minute sessions – one in the morning and one in the afternoon. It will be fun and engaging with Bible games and quizzes. Online registration will start tomorrow, Friday, 19th.

Fwd: Upcoming Events - 06/14/2020

It is with great joy we are informing you, our church will reopen for Sunday Mass this Sunday, June 14th at 11am.


According to the email received from the Archdiocese of New York (ADNY) we can reopen our church for Sunday Masses with the recommended guidelines and precautions.  We are allowed to have 100 people (25% of the building occupancy) to attend the service.


If the church reaches its limit of 100 people, the rest can participate in the Mass at the social hall through live-stream.


We are prepared and will follow all the protocols and safety measures recommended by the ADNY.


Please comply with the following guidelines to ensure everyone's safety:

Church Reopening



Welcome Back

Dear All

It is with great joy we are informing you, our church will be opening soon for regular weekly Mass, Monday – Saturday.  Since the NY Archdiocese has not yet decided about Sunday Mass, we will not have regular Mass on Sundays.  We are allowed to have 100 people (25% of the building occupancy) to attend the service.

We will open the church with the Holy Mass this Thursday, June 11th (Corpus Christi Feast) at 6:00PM.

Please see the following Mass schedule:

Monday – Friday:  6:00PM

Saturday:  9:00AM

Sunday: Live-streaming of Holy Mass at 10:30AM. (There won't be any Mass on Sundays in the presence of parishioners, but the private Mass at 10:30am will be livestreamed).

Live-streaming of all the Mass will continue until we reinstate the normal Mass schedule.

We must follow all the protocols by the state and the health department. Please comply with the following guidelines to ensure everyone's safety:
