REVEALED Retreat: October 25-27, 2019

Dear parishioners,

As mentioned by Achen earlier today, there is a vocations retreat coming up soon in Chicago, called REVEALED. This is the first national vocations retreat hosted by the Diocesan Youth Apostate (DYA)!

This retreat will be from October 25-27, 2019 and held at the Loyola University Retreat and Ecology Campus (LUREC) near Chicago, IL. The purpose of this retreat is for participants to discover the will of God for their life. The primary focus will be on vocations.

The idea of vocation is central to the Christian belief that God has created each person with gifts and talents oriented toward specific purposes and a way of life. In the broadest sense, as stated in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, "Love is the fundamental and innate vocation of every human being" (CCC 2392). Whether it be religious life, marriage or whatever else God is calling you to, discovering your vocation is answering the call to holiness and the path to sanctification that God has intended for you.

Every young adult (18+) is invited to learn what God wants to reveal to them.. The registration cost is $200 and participants will have the chance to listen and learn from many hand-picked speakers who look forward to sharing their vocation journey and offer guidance.

Please see the attached flyer and registration link and strongly consider any young adult you know to partake in this unique program. Those who are interested must sign up using this registration link. Please do not hesitate to reach out to Ashley Kadamthottu (cc'd on this email) or  DYA National Team at info@stthomasdya.org if you or anyone has any questions.

With prayers,
