Upcoming Events - 08/16/2020


Dear Parishioners,

 

1. Tomorrow, August 15th, Saturday is the Feast of the Assumption (6pm Mass) - Day of Obligation. Also please keep our Motherland, India, in your prayers on this day of Indian independence.

 

2. The long awaited buying of our church will be on Wednesday, August 26th, 2020.  Please continue your prayers for the smooth and successful process of this event.    

 

3. August 16th, Sunday: Those who would like to participate in the Karshakasree award 2020, please register by Sunday, August 16th

 

4. August 29th, Saturday: First Holy Communion

 

5.  September 13th, Sunday: We are celebrating our parish Feast of St. Mary on Sunday, September 13th. Kodiyettam will be on Friday, September 11th. We will start St. Mary's Novena on September 1st.  Those who would like to sponsor the Feast, please start to sign up. Due to the COVID circumstances, this year the sponsorship amount is $100. 

 

6. Our church property surveying is completed. However, the stakes are not placed yet. Once it is done, we will have the opportunity to have a tour of the church property.

 

7. Due to COVID social distancing, we are offering three Sunday Masses (one mass on Saturday evening and two masses on Sunday) every weekend.

 

From now onwards Sunday Malayalam Holy Mass will be at 10:30 AM (NOT 11 AM) and there will be an English Mass at 12 Noon.

 

Saturday 9:00 AM Malayalam Mass and Novena will be moved to 6:00 PM. Those who would like to attend this Mass to fulfill the Sunday obligation are most welcome. This is only a temporary arrangement until we get back to the normal church activities. You are also welcome to attend this as a regular Saturday Mass with Novena.

 

Please see the following Mass schedule:

Monday – Saturday:  6:00 PM

Sunday: 10:30 AM Malayalam Mass and 12 Noon English Mass

  

Please comply with the following guidelines to ensure everyone's safety:

 

1.   You must wear a mask (bring your own mask) all the time while you are in the church including while going to receive the Holy Communion

 

2.   Sanitize your hands before you enter the church. Church will provide the hand sanitizer

 

3.   Keep six-foot social distancing at the church and we must stay within the limit of 110 people for the Mass.

 

4.   After each Mass, the pews will be disinfected.

 

5.   There won't be any social gathering, food, or coffee at the social hall.

 

If you have any health concerns, we encourage you to refrain from coming to the church.

 

All the Masses will be live-streamed at the same time when the Mass is celebrated.
